If you're a titch sentimental, you don't want to trash the first graders papers. Any of them. I'm upcycling my son's drawings and worksheets into one large fibers fine art piece. It will feature varying methods of weaving and hopefully use no glue or stitching. Experiments are ongoing. In the meantime, the year's papers measure about ten inches when stacked.
If anyone has any methods for weaving continuously and with shorter pieces of paper from one point (no warp), I'd love to know about it.
