hancock day school collaboration

Last week, the Hancock Day School middle schoolers completed and presented a six month long project led by their art instructor Nancy Oosterhoudt and myself.  Repurposing some 15,000 pieces of homework paper, materials from around the art room and some donated fabrics from S. Tallevast Interiors and Curry & Co, the 7' x 19" work now hangs in Hancock Hall.   The marsh view at Laroche Avenue includes the contribution of two students who folded one thousand origami egrets that now alight on trees, bushes and marsh grasses.
