I'm thinking that MLK Junior might actually be Nelson Mandela. After reading a little bit more about the cathedral and trying to find out the name and number of their art historian (at the DIvine, not the DEvine, jeesh), I'm realizing that the statues represent the greatest representatives (of mostly men) over time and maybe I'm being too Americanacentric (I'm sure there's a real word for this). So I've placed a call to the Cathedral and also to Professor Stephen Murray at Columbia. Murray is a gothic specialist, art historian and some kind of architectural digital modeling maven. More later.Someone will call me back and we'll find out about X, Einstein, X and Ghandi.
