It's been an event packed couple of months with tons of art, film, fun, travel, visitors and lots of great action for Savannah and its artists.
Film Fest excited, transported us and inspired. The SCAD Museum of Art re-opened and it's a stunner. The Telfair Art Fair weekend was beautiful and the hostess city's participants represented with panache and pride. This week, several colleagues have headed to Miami for Art Basel. May they take the community (and the world) by storm.
In the meantime, "on my leisure time", I've uploaded a number of new works to my online boutique. Painted in the last year, they depict the beach, the woods, Pine Island and the marshes.
All are one of a kind - complete luxury items - depicting our fair and treasured coastal Georgia. Framed in free-standing white boxes, they make a memorable and certainly timeless gift for a loved one. I hope you will find one that suits you and your vision of Savannah and its back roads, marshes and waterways.
If you're so inclined, you can also "like" my facebook artist's page here.
Last and most importantly, I send best wishes as you prepare for and celebrate the holidays. May your new year be filled with intrique, challenges, successes and lots of love for home, family and work.
